Job Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oulu.

As a key player at Vuo AI, you will contribute to the design and development of our gamified cooking app. This role requires a creative approach to crafting fun user experiences and a strategic mindset to balance the in-game economy, ensuring users feel they receive more value than they invest financially.

Role Objective
To enhance the user experience by designing engaging game systems and balancing the in-game economy in our products, making it both enjoyable and economically viable for the company.

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Engaging Gameplay Design: Develop game mechanics that make cooking interactive and enjoyable. Incorporate elements of storytelling, challenges, and rewards to enhance user engagement.
• Economic and System Balance: Design and manage the in-game economy to optimize financial returns while maintaining a generous value proposition for users.
• User-Centric Design and Feedback Integration: Use data analytics to understand user behavior and preferences, continuously iterating based on user feedback to optimize gameplay and economic models.
• System Architecture and Development: Develop and refine the game’s systems and economics, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Implement thorough testing regimes to ensure systems meet design specifications and user expectations.

• Collaboration and Leadership: Work across functional teams to integrate systems into broader product architectures, mentor junior designers, and stay at the forefront of game design technology and practices.

Desired Qualifications

• Expertise in Game System Design: Proven experience in designing game systems and economies, particularly within AI-integrated environments.
• Strong Mathematical Skills: A solid background in mathematics or physics is highly desirable, enabling the development of complex algorithms and system balances.
• Experience with AI and Game Analytics: Familiarity with AI technologies, especially LLMs, and the ability to use analytics tools to derive insights from user interactions and improve system designs.
